Opuntia Ficus Indica or Nopal oil comes from the first cold pressure of prickly pear seeds. Almost a ton of fruit is needed to obtain 1L of pear oil. It is very valuable and should not be confused with effleurage of the flower, with lesser properties. Prickly pears (Opuntia Ficus) grow in the driest lands of Spain, Africa and America. Prickly pears are gathered from June to September, being its production very limited. Prickly pears contain 52% pulp and only a 12% of seeds.
Extraction is very difficult and it is the seed of the fruit the one having the oily content, a 4%, thus nutritive values. Only for cosmetic use, Nopal oil is rich in Omega 3 and Vitamin E. Its extraordinary components protect the skin from free radicals. It is three times more effective than the Argan oil and its regenerative properties are higher than those of the musk-rose.
Prickly oil is very soft, excellent for all types of skin and specially indicated for delicate ones. It has a light texture and a mild “sandy” smell. It leaves the skin soft and silky. It is highly nutritive and moisturizing, becoming an excellent ally against sun stress, pollution and the aggressions of time. Due to its properties it is a powerful anti-wrinkle. It restores elasticity providing skin firmness and a gleaming natural tone. As it is an excellent regenerative, it helps reducing scars, diminishing stretch marks and strengthens hair and nails. It is highly more effective and powerful than any other cosmetic cream.
Best Anti-age. More powerful than any other cosmetic cream.
